J&P AVAX subcontracted Marex Subsea Welds Ltd to carry out the fitting and wet welding of 279 sucrificial anodes in 99 piles at Delimara Power Sation Jetty in Malta. Marex was also requested to provide and prepare all the welding documentation in accordance with AWS D3.6M:2010 and the diving plan according to OGP Rules. Type of Welds was requested to be Class B Welds. However, after the completion of NDT Inspections, the Test House noted that welding quality that was achieved throughout the wet welding was Class A Welds.
