In the context of rapid developments in the Commercial Diving Industry and specifically in Hyperbaric Welding Technology, on Dry & Wet environment, it is a mandatory need to monitor the developments as a Country, integrated into the European Union as well as a member of the International Community. Marex Subsea Welds has started a round of meetings with partners and associates who are interested in obtaining knowledge and listening to the pulse of the Diving Industry. In response to our program, the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) participated in our19th February seminar which was conducted in Marex's premises. The program included three basic stages, the first stage was an opening introduction-discussion on various subjects of common interest such as the International & European Commercial Diving Legislations, the Diving Contractor’s obligations, the Hyperbaric Wet Welding (Codes: EN ISO 15618-1, AWS D3.6M:2010) and many others which can de seen in PRESS RELEASES. The second stage was, an in-water demonstation and producion of three different specimens in difficulty and welding position. The third and final stage of this awareness seminar included an in-company laboratory testing of the produced specimens and a general concluding discussion on the topics examined while the seminar and the in-water demonstration.
