Yet another successful project was completed by Marex Subsea Welds Ltd in August 2015. The M/V Wittenbergen agrounded to the East side of Kythira island at the end of July. Marex Subsea Welds Ltd was approached by Svitzer Salvage BV so as to conduct a series of thorough in-water surveys and Welding if deemed necessary in order to determine the nature and extent of the damage afflicted to the vessel. A Diving Team composed by five members of Commercial Divers-Technicians was sent to the island to conduct the survey. The project was completed successfully in due time.
